Carolina Mantis

Description:

Female nymph. This nymph hatched from an ootheca that was laid by a wild collected female. She has an interesting turquoise color.

Habitat:

The mother was found in a weedy location in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Notes:

This is a captive mantis that is native to my area.

She became a lovely lady! ♡

She had her final molt on April 9, 2013. :)
