Leccinum Mushroom

Leccinum subsect. Leccinum

Description:

Cap was dry, felty, and was a beautiful orange-pink color. Pores were dingy cream colored. Reticulated stem. The mushroom was about 4 inches tall.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on the ground in a mixed forest. There was a lot of pine and birch in the area.
