Pink Bellied Moth maybe?
It's a pity I could not get better pics for ID, Leanne, such as open wings or so. It has pinkish tuft on the back, flew away when disturbed, over the roof of a 2 storey house :(
Wow! I don't even know where to begin with an ID for you Chicquita. Is it a moth of some description do you think?
