Melissa's Blue- female?

Plebejus melissa

Description:

Could this be a female Melissa's Blue? Doesn't match some of the photos online of that species but is an exact match in the Butterflies of BC by John Acorn.

Habitat:

If this is a female Melissa's Blue, then it would be the second brood which flies from late July to early September. I found this one on the asters along the roadside in the subalpine on Blackwall Peak, Manning Park, BC in the northern Cascade mountain range. I loved the combination of the orange brown butterfly against the purple asters.
