Brown Click Beetle

Description:

Changed to False Click Beetle 10-15mm. Brown. . The interesting thing about this series is the tiny "wasp" that has been picked up in the shot. Too small for my camera and torch light to get a better image of.

Habitat:

This one was below a street-lamp in garbage pick-up area

Notes:

It looks as though there are three species of click-beetle type insects in three spottings just a few yards from here. This is the largest of the three and may be Isarthrus calceatus ( see reference). Only about 70% sure of this being a false click beetle but that is more than 50-50 so I have labelled it
