Southern River Terrapin

Description:

Another turtle here at the Tulsa, Oklahoma Zoo. I couldn't find much on these turtles but they're turtles so that makes them cool in my book. Like all turtles they seem to suffer from the pet trade.

Habitat:

They are found in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia (though apparently less so here, as they where though to have gone from Cambodia until its rediscovery in 2001).
