Description:

Pale Grey with a finely barred belly.

Habitat:

Near Endemic to Southern Africa. Common resident of arid savanna, semi-desert and karoo scrub. Solitary or in pairs, usually perches conspicuously on a tree or telephone pole, scanning the ground for prey. A versatile hunter that will run after pray on foot or pursue it relentlessly in flight; sometimes uses Honey Badgers and other mammals to flush prey.
