Description:

Medium-sized katydid with oval head, very long hind legs.

Habitat:

Surrounding habitat a mix of mesquite, palmetto, and other bottomland vegetation adjacent to Lower Rio Grande River.

Notes:

This is a male specimen. Note absence of ovipositor, plus modified "shoulders" for sound production.
