Description:

The Peruvian Thick-knee (Burhinus superciliaris) is a species of bird in the Burhinidae family. It is found in Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, and pastureland. Ironically, it is known for its very thin legs. It feeds on small insects and grains.
