The gray fox is unusual; it climbs trees by clasping the trunk with its front legs and pushing itself. Gray fox spotted at my daughters house. To get the picture she left her some cat food. Gray Fox is 22-30 inches. tail is 10 to 15 inches. Coat coarse, salt and pepper, with orange and white markings. bushy, black tipped tail

Habitat:

open woodland, desert edges, chaparral. This one was in a small plot of woodland in a small city.
