Description:

Vine. Vine will climb trees but, if no trees available, vines will grow across the ground. Flowers arranged on a simple umbel Individual flowers star-shaped; 5 petals with pointed tips. Petal color. purple center fading to green or green-yellow at the tip Leaves. Simple, cordate, opposite. Mature leaves up to 8 inches long. Seeds produced in follicle; follicles angled with smooth surface. Follicle approximately 4 to 4.5 inches long.

Habitat:

Growing on roadside in clay soil
