Description:

It is a large hawkmoth that has brown wings similar to a manduca.The hindwings are brown with a pink spot.Like all sphinx and hawkmoths they have large eyes and strong wings that fly at fast speeds through the night to find food especially datura and moon flowers.Sphinx moths don't feed on all flowers they feed on flowers that have a deep tube because they have long proboscis.The moth has magenta spots on the abdomen.

Habitat:

Attracted to a bright light during new moon
