Eupithecia inchworm

Eupithecia miserulata

Description:

According to butterfliesandmoths.org, this is the only species of Eupithecia in Virginia. Otherwise, I don't think this could be identified at the species level. It's on a blackgum leaf (Nyssa sylvatica).
