Eastern gray squirrels

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

In my little neighborhood, there are quite a few gray squirrels, but usually I see them in my neighbor's yard and up their trees. These three must have come over to find more acorns, maybe their caches ran out.

Habitat:

Wooded area near a small pond and field
