Spotting

Description:

Very very small wasp or hornet (three could fit on my pinky nail). Non aggressive and no visible stinger or ovator (or whatever the egg dispenser is called on Ichinudae wasps). They fly so fast video couldn't catch them. Slightly shiny with blue-green hue.

Habitat:

Found some in very dry clay mixed dirt holes. Others were flying around. Stopping at certain holes where the occupant was protruding their antennae out like banners.

Notes:

I think I stumbled upon their nest. There was no fighting that I observed. And every once in a while after one landed and touched antennae with one in the hole they would both go into the hole. But most of the time they would retreat from each other. There was a huge number of them.50-100. Maybe even more.
