Green Foxglove

Digitalis viridiflora

Description:

Digitalis viridiflora is an erect, rosette-forming, evergreen biennial or short-lived perennial with downy, lance-shaped, dark green leaves and, upright stems bearing linear, dark green leaves and racemes of tubular, veined, yellow-green flowers in summer. It is a common Greek wildflower, mostly found in mountain prairies and forest clearings. The pictured plant was spotted in Pelion mountain, Greece.
