Southeastern Chorus Frogs

Pseudacris feriarum

Description:

Small tan frogs with darker brown markings.

Habitat:

Rural road in Williamson County.

Notes:

This pair of Southeastern Chorus Frogs were locked in amplexus when first found. But I believe the male suffered a little performance anxiety and released his grip...but I would too if there were two people watching ;-)

Thanks Telse and gatorfellows!
And yes, RiekoS...you are on to us! We often go out together and shoot together.

I wonder if these frogs were same frogs with KarenL's, since you live near to each other (spotted the same day). And, I wondered if KarenL's frogs got back together, or the other way around... ;-)
