Syzygium cumini
Straight stems with drooping branches. The leaves are slender and somewhat pendent, about 7-11 cm long and 2-5 cm broad, and elliptic in shape with a rounded base and tapering apex. The petioles of young leaves are pinkish and slender. The midrib is grooved above and elevated beneath. A wavy vein is clearly seen just beneath the edge of the leaf. Spreading clusters of white flowers are seen on the axils of fallen leaves.
