Photinus sp
A small firefly.
At hospital on edge of jungle for 3 weeks fighting cellulitis/erysipelas. Hope to get at some postings soon. I enjoy looking back over old spottings to see if I can figure out what they are. Slow work, but fun.
I am glad you are interested in my old photos, Tukup. Take your time, I hope you have some fun. :-) By the way, I am waiting the tortoise beetles you promised...
I reference his pictures a lot. I never knew him and he was gone before I joined PN, but I appreciate the quality of his photos. Very helpful for IDs. As I get time I'd like to keep browsing your unidentified. At least we are on the same continent and some species stretch all the way across.
Good catch Sergio. This looks like the same as we have in Ecuador shown in the link. There are at least 275 species with no descriptions so I can't take it any further. Thanks for sharing.
