Douglas squirrel

Description:

Douglas squirrels are small - adults are about 33 cm in length including the tail. They are orange on the chest and belly, while their backs and tails are gray. They have a white eye ring.

Habitat:

Spotted in old growth forest near Crescent Lake. They are found in old or second growth coniferous forest along the Pacific coast.
