Jumping Spider

Hyllus sp

Description:

Probably a juvenile at about 1cm body length. Pale/white colouration with some red on the legs and black markings around the eyes and on the abdomen. I didn't see how it overpowered the katydid, but it must be either incredibly strong or possess a very potent venom.

Habitat:

Coastal tropical vegetation on Koh Sriboya island, Krabi.
