That indeed must be deliteful!!Tracking the progress of this baby Dacelo might be a good idea. Keep us informed . Especially his tactics!

:) Yes.. we use genus names to help remember them. Besides they are great names. Besides Dacelo we have Podargus, Cracticus, Strepera, Cacatua, Trichoglossus and Platycercus all visiting at the moment.

The kids just want to be together with their cousins. SF has enough of partying! I am gonna ask them to bring back wild life pics of course. A kangaroo in the wild, hopefully. They are planning a trip to the reefs. A real desire is to see the Lord of the Rings setting. So they will go to NZ too. My nephew is a photography enthusiast . But when all of them are together ,it is all different.
I will have to look up to see what a Dacelo is. Do you have a spotting?

Wonderful thank you Hema. A new young Dacelo has just started visiting our garden this week. (We couldn't help ourselves and gave it a bacon rind and now it's back every day) Hope the kids enjoy Sydney (it's a bit of a flashy party town compared to Melbourne but good fun)
