This is the most poisenous frog! Batrachotoxin is only known from frogs in Colombia and some birds from Papua. It is a very potent toxin. It is estimated that 1 frog can kill 10000 mice with its toxin. Recalculated mean kill about 10 to 20 humans and 2 elephant bulls...
So, no wonder indigenous people use this toxin for hunting (besides the toxin from other frogs).
