Mediterranean House Gecko

Hemidactylus turcicus

Description:

A pink gecko my little sister caught one evening. We see a lot of these around the house and we've had some drop their tails. They look almost translucent, have grey patches on their sides, and lots of white speckles. This one wasn't more than two and a half inches long (6.4 centimeters). The species is invasive in the United States.

Pictures taken with iPhone 5.
