Hi kimkiu, awesome spotting. As per my suggestion above, I think it's a scorpion-tailed spider. Apparently they have fairly significant colour variation. Here's another resource so you can check it out: http://ednieuw.home.xs4all.nl/australian...

i also guess it's a spider. i wanted to take more photos with it. however it just falls and disappeared.....

I can not believe it !! it looks like a spider, legs tuck in the sides (bottom) very odd body though!! and what about those 2 little antennas/horns and the raised tailed!! I hope you get an ID, I just can not wait... : o
