Western Meadowlark

Description:

They have brown streaks on the back and head. The belly is bright yellow with a dark black collar.

Habitat:

Found in western and central North America, they are commonly seen in grassland and prairie habitats. There was a whole flock of them flushing as we were driving down a dirt road.
