A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I found this snake near a small village (La Calera) in the desert of San Luis in Argentina. She was already dead, someone had killed her, probably mistaking her for a real coral snake. And fact is, unfortunately, but also to be understood when you live hours away from the next village let alone the next hospital or anti-venom, the attitude in the remote rural areas of Argentina is more of a "just a dead snake is a good snake".
