We cannot find any history of this Ladybird here in Vanuatu or nearby islands including the continent of Australia. Going to follow up on this.
Amazing find. Great to see the small wildlife of Vanuatu. I know of a few species from Australia but your spottings will be very interesting.
Thanks Bayucca.. I have been puzzled myself.. but thought I saw something similar in Australia. Now I cannot find it. I will contact someone.
Do not ask me what this guy is doing on Vanuatu. But in my eyes there is no other possibility than being an intrusive species. I am not sure if you should report this finding to the authorities?
