Golden-yellow lichen about one inch long growing on a oak tree branch.I found this unusual because I rarely Find yellow lichen in my area.

I found It under a post oak tree in my yard.

The fruiting bodies of Usnea lichens come in a variety of colors. Lovely lichen!
