Amanita borealisorora
Look for the slightly brownish or olivaceous coloring to the cap with gray remnants of the universal veil. There should be no color changes to this mushroom if it is cut or bruised. There should also be no ring on the stem. Spore Color is white. Gill Color is off white to grayish.
Found on the ground in deciduous forest. Photographed in the midlands of South Carolina in Edgefield County.
