A type of native Californian ant. This species is at war with the invasive Argentine ants and has deposited the Argentine ant corpses around their anthill.

Habitat:

Underground and other hollow structures.

Notes:

A type of ant that makes small colonies, entire colonies have been seen living in small hollow plants like a papyrus stem or a nut.
