Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Archilochus colubris

Description:

I found this deceased humming bird at work one day. I believe it may have flown into the tropical plant I found it in, and broken it's neck. Upsetting as it may be, the body was in amazing condition, and I decided to take a few pictures. Probably wont get another chance to hold a hummingbird in the palm of my hand!

Just wish I could get the duplicate picture to delete. It's off center!
