Chlamydosaurus kingii
This dinosaur-like creature is found in Northern Australia and has a large frilled collar folded around its head which expands when frightened.
Usually found in small trees where it takes on this pose to camouflage as deadwood.
This dragon was sheltering in an abandoned cattle station shed as a wildfire swept through the brush around it.
