Description:

Large white bird, with bright red and bordered black bill (adults), or brown yellowish for immature birds (pic n 2)

Habitat:

Very common species on various waterbodies in our part of Europe, present all-year-round. Here, observed in north-eastern wetlands of pays de Gex - small area located in between the Jura range and Geneva lake.

Observed during the Wetlands Bird Count 2019.
