Description:

It is small in size, with a wingspan of between 23 and 27 mm.

Habitat:

In this spotting on a Scabiosa atropurpurea plant. The habitat of this rare butterfly is located in bushy areas and open forests where its nutritious plant, the blackthorn Prunus spinosa, is present. It flies in a single generation, between the months of June and July.
