Description:

A small snake, about 35 cm long. Reddish brown with lateral black streaks on the dorsum, and pinkish unmarked scales on the ventral side.

Habitat:

Horse pastures, at about 800 meters above sea level, in the floor of a "dry" valley (dry forest ecoregion).

Que serpiente tan amenazadora e imponente especialmente por el intenso color. Su estado según la IUCN no se considera amenazada y no existen registros que sea comercializada por algún uso. Esta serpiente tiene un comportamiento diurna y habita bosques secos y húmedos.
