Description:

This was a very large cream-colored mushroom. The cap was a bit darker and had a red tint. I placed a ring on the cap to give you an idea of its size. The gills were prominent and long, and the stem was quite thick.

Habitat:

Alongside a trail in Pachaug State Forest.
