Phrynocephalus arabicus

Description:

Sans-coloured; spots and stripes on upper body; black/brown stripes on tail. The tip of the tail turns black during mating season. Males tend to wave their black-tipped tail like a semaphore flag to attract females

Habitat:

Widespread in Arabia; sandy areas; sand-dunes & undulating sand.
