Very young and healthy plant growing in the Dahab flood zone several weeks after winter rains. "A species of plant in the Amaranthaceae family. The plant is herbaceous, multi-stemmed, soft-wooded, with broad leaves; it often has an erect habit." - wiki

Habitat:

sandy wadis and desert plains

Notes:

Not used medicinally here in Egypt or Sinai, but in other parts of the world (Jordan, for example), it is.
