Spotting

Description:

Tiny pink flower (1-2 cm) with striped petals and a very hairy stem and buds.

Habitat:

Spotted in the grass adjacent to the Skagit River in North Cascades National Park.

Notes:

Kind of reminds me of one of the Caryophyllaceae(?), but not sure.

In the Geraniaceae (geranium) family. Possibly a species of storksbill or cranesbill geranium.
