Sida rhombifolia
Plant. Approximately 18 inches tall. Flowers. Cream with ‘translucent rays’ running from center to approximately half the length of the asymmetric petals; solitary; arising from the leaf axil on very long stalks; approximately 1 cm diameter. Calyx is cup-shaped, approximately 0.5 cm long, lobes triangular with a pointed tip. Leaves. Simple; alternate; rhombic-elliptical shaped; margins dentate with a pointed tip.
