About 50mm long. This is a large hornet. It is raiding a colony of small Paper wasp for grubs. The owner of the nest (Ropalidia fasciata) has no defense against this thief.. It is shown in the last picture. Another spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/645...
