Red Bellied Black Snake

Pseudechis porphyriacus

Description:

Very placid snake. This one came right up to me and actually passed right over my open hand. Probably not wise to try as they are quite venomous.

Since you know the identity of your species (Red Bellied Black Snake) why not complete your spotting by filling in its Scientific name? That is Pseudechis porphyriacus.
