Rabid Wolf Spider

Rabidosa rabida

Description:

An adult female of the rabid wolf spider. Since it wasn't near a web (in fact found on a treestrump) and was chasing around crickets and eating them I'm gonna assume it was a wolf spider. The rabid wolf spider being the one that fit the bill the closest. Very fascinating spider and very fun to watch.

Habitat:

North America.
