Occelated Blue-ringed Octopus/Mototi Octopus

Amphioctopus mototi

Description:

A small specie, just around 2 inches in size for its body. This specie only has 2 blue-rings on both side just under its eyes. When at rest, the blue is not visible but when provoked, it will flash the blue-rings as warning. This octopus can be very poisonous. On the 3rd picture, the Mototi Octopus was seen 'interacting' with a Mimic Octopus

Thanks, @Cindy & @Leuba :)

@Leuba, the Occelated Blue Ringed Octopus or Mototi Octopus is related to the Blue Ringed Octopus except that they only have 2 Blue Rings.
I will post my spot of the Blue Ringed Octopus later :D

I love the colour changes and the different creatures in the one area. Sounds similar to the blue-ringed octopus from the waters here, except for the number of rings. Great spotting !

Nice series, Albert!
