Red-vented Bulbul

This bulbul has a distinctive short, black crest. The head is black while the body is dark brown. The vent is red and the tail is tipped in white.


This is a bird of dry scrub, open forest, plains and cultivated lands. In its native range it is rarely found in mature forests.
