Desert Cottontail

Sylvilagus audubonii

Description:

This baby bunny was found with its sibling. If you ever find "abandoned" baby rabbits, LEAVE THEM unless they are in immediate danger. They are not abandoned and their mom will return in the evening to get them.

Habitat:

Under a feed trough in Oak Woodland/Chaparral. I uncovered them when I was clearing the hay from the ground. I covered them back up and left the area (after a couple photos).
