Laughing Gull

Leucophaeus atricilla

Habitat:

primarily coastal gulls and are only rarely found far inland along beaches, in saltmarshes, in mangroves, or on agricultural fields or landfills near the coast

Notes:

Probably the most common gull in south Florida beaches. There was a large flock of them with a mix of breeding and non-breeding plumage.
