Prothonotary Warbler

Description:

Bright yellow warbler with very dark bill and dark eyes. Dark gray wings and upper tail feathers, white under the tail and yellow belly. Song is a clear wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat, wheat.

Habitat:

Sings high to mid-tree level. Favors marshy swampy hardwood areas.
