Three-banded Mason Wasp

A⁠ncistrocerus trifasciatus

Description:

Primarily black body with three yellow bands on the abdomen. In the female, the head has a yellow spot between the antenna attachment. The body length is around 12mm.

Habitat:

Forest edge on a Canadian goldenrod.

Notes:

Norwegian name: T⁠rebåndet murerveps
